Champagne: with or without herbicide

The Champagne wine association (AVC) has just committed to neutralizing CO2 by 2050 at the latest and renouncing the use of herbicides by 2025. Announcement made by Messrs. David Chatillon and Maxime Toubard, co-presidents of Champagne Committee. Other good news: in order to limit CO2 emissions, the Champagne industry is reducing the weight of each bottle by more than 50 grams. This measure makes it possible to avoid the emission of 8,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere each year, which equals 4,000 vehicles.
