After Château Ausone, Cheval Blanc, Angelus, Croque Michotte and La Gaffelière, the first grand cru classified A and B of Saint-Emilion since 1955, left the Saint-Emilion classification. The reason is that they no longer recognize themselves in this classification entrusted to Bureau Veritas which is in charge of tastings and analysis of applications, of searching for independent professional tasters (screw traders, sommeliers, eonologists, brokers, wine merchants , cellar master, operators... who could justify 10 years of experience in the regular practice of tasting.
